Q. Who can subscribe? 

Ans: Anyone and everyone.

Q. I want to tell my friends about muslim-calendar.com, how can I do this?

Ans: Go to our home page, fill out the information on the left and hit SEND.

Q. When do I recieve Muslim Calendar Updates? 

Ans: If you're subscribed, you can choose to receive event updates once a week.

Q. I want to be reminded about a certain event(s), can Muslim Calendar send me a special 
reminder? 

Ans: This service is not yet available. Our developers are working hard to customize this site to your preferences and it
will be available soon inshaAllah.

Q. What kind of events may be added to Muslim-calendar?

Ans: Only Islamic events (no secular events) held by or in conjunction with credible mainstream Islamic Organizations.

Q. Is there an approval process an event must go through before it is posted? 

Ans: Yes. All events added to the calendar go through 2 levels of approval.
1) At organization level: We give admin rights only to credible mainstream muslim organizations.
2) Event approval: Every event is passed through our "Event approval committee" and if doesn't pass certain
     criteria (mainstream Islamic events), it is removed from the calendar.

Q. Who approves of the events added? 

Ans: A committee of 3.

Q. How long does the approval proccess take before it is posted? 

Ans: Actually, events are posted to the calendar by default. If however, they don't qualify under our guidelines,
          they are removed within 24 hours.

Q. How many events can I add? 

Ans: As many qualified events as you like.

Q. Can I subscribe to more than one city? 

Ans: This feature is also being developed. For now, you can subscribe to only 1 city. However, you can change this
subscription as often as you like and you can still browse events of other cities without having subscribed to that city.

Q. Can I add personal events to the Muslim Calendar?

 Ans: Yes. You need to create an online personal calendar and then add your events.

Q. What is a organizational calendar? 

Ans: An organizational calendar works the same way as a personal calendar. Only, it is shared amonst colleagues rather
than friends and family members. Click here to find out what a personal calendar is.

Q. Is there a way I can RSVP for an event? 

Ans: Yes. Click on any event in the calendar and you can RSVP to it.

Q. How do I view my RSVP's for a event I have added? 

Ans: Log in to the site, browse to the details of the event and you can see the RSVP count on top.

Q. Who do I contact regarding a specific event?

Q. What are connected organizations? 

Ans: Organizations that aim to fulfill the following:
1. Let other organizations in their community know of their events
2. Avoid scheduling conflicts with other organizations
3. Add their events to muslim-calendar to reach out to more subscribers
4. Work smart by using latest technologies to help their events

Q. How can my organization utilize these subscribers? 

Ans: This is the number of subscribers to this metroplex.
If you add all your events to MC, we will automatically remind these subscribers every week.


Q. What is a metroplex? where is my city? 

Ans: In order to unite muslim events, we consolidate events by metroplex, not by city.
If you dont see your city in the drop down, look for the larger metroplex near you.
If you dont see your metroplex, contact us and we'll add it.
If you're adding an event, you can add it under the metroplex, and still add the exact address with city.


Q. I want to add a khutbah schedule for my city to Muslim Calendar, how do I do so? 

Ans: Email the city name and the link to info@muslim-calendar.com
